- Description This gene is predicted to encode a protein that forms part of the topoisomerase VI complex. BIN4 is a nuclear-localized protein that can bind DNA. bin4 mutants are brassinolide-insensitive dwarves with severely reduced cell size in leaves, roots, and hypocotyls.
