InterPro domain: IPR033443

This is the region of the Arabidopsis protein-only RNase P (PRORP) enzyme that consists of up to eleven alpha-helices. The region serves to enhance the activity of the metallonuclease PROPR domain [ 1 ]. PRORPs are a class of RNA processing enzymes that catalyse maturation of the 5' end of precursor tRNAs in eukaryotes [ 2 ].
