Abstract

This entry represents LIN-9-related proteins from plants (also known as proteins ALWAYS EARLY). In Arabidopsis thaliana, there are three ALWAYS EARLY homologues (AtALY1, AtALY2 and AtALY3). Unlike animal ALY/LIN-9 proteins, AtALY1 contains an additional N-terminal myb domain and a TUDOR related domain in part of the ALY/LIN-9 conserved domain [ 1 ].
