Abstract

Modular polyketide synthases are giant multifunctional enzymes that biosynthesise a variety of secondary metabolites using various combinations of dehydratase (DH), ketoreductase (KR) and enoyl-reductase (ER) domains [ 1 ]. This entry represents the enoylreductase domain from a number of polyketide sythases.
