This entry contains proteins belonging to the UPF0496 family, found in plants. This family includes AT14A like proteins from Arabidopsis thaliana. At14a contains a small domain that has sequence similarities to integrins from fungi, insects and humans. Transcripts of At14a are found in all Arabidopsis tissues and the protein localises partly to the plasma membrane [ 1 ].
