- tba-2 encodes a tubulin with similarity to the murine alpha-2 chain; in small scale assays tba-1(RNAi) has no phenotype and was found to function redundantly with its isotype tba-1 to form spindle structures in embryos with the tbb-1 and tbb-2 beta-isotypes.
