Abstract

This entry represents a group of LysM and putative peptidoglycan-binding domain-containing proteins, including LYSMD1-4 from humans. The lysin motif (LysM) of LysMDs is likely related to a previously described peptidoglycan-binding LysM found in bacteria. LysMD3 is a type II membrane protein [ 1 ].
