Abstract

This family represents a group of plant E3 ubiquitin protein ligases, including SIS3 (Protein SUGAR INSENSITIVE 3) from Arabidopsis. SIS3 is a RING finger protein involved in a ubiquitination pathway that acts as positive regulator of sugar signalling during early seedling development [ 1 ].
