Abstract

Reticulons are a family of ER-localised proteins found in a wide range of eukaryotes and have been shown to localise to the ER in many species. This entry represents a group of plant reticulon-like proteins, including RTNLB17/18/21 from Arabidopsis. RTNLB17/18/21 are reticulon proteins with an additional N-terminal domain. However, there is no function predicted or identified for the N-terminal domain of RTNLB17/18/21 [ 1 ].

1. The odd one out: Arabidopsis reticulon 20 does not bend ER membranes but has a role in lipid regulation. Sci Rep 8, 2310
