AtStr4 (also known as TROL, thylakoid rhodanese-like protein) is a nuclear-encoded component of thylakoid membranes that is required for tethering of FNR (ferredoxin-NADP(+) oxidoreductase) and sustaining efficient linear electron flow (LEF) in vascular plants [ 1 ].
