Abstract
This entry includes a group of plant protein-tyrosine-phosphatases, such as IBR5 from Arabidopsis. IBR5 is a dual-specificity MAPK phosphatase that modulates phytohormone signal transduction and support a link between auxin and abscisic acid signaling pathways [ 1 , 2 ].
1. IBR5, a dual-specificity phosphatase-like protein modulating auxin and abscisic acid responsiveness in Arabidopsis. Plant Cell 15, 2979-91
2. Arabidopsis mitogen-activated protein kinase MPK12 interacts with the MAPK phosphatase IBR5 and regulates auxin signaling. Plant J. 57, 975-85
