Abstract
This entry represents F-box protein SNE. In Arabidopsis, SNE (SNEEZY or SLY2, At5g48170) is a subunit of the SCF ubiquitin ligase complex that positively regulates the gibberellin signaling pathway. It shares protein sequence similarity with SLY1 and its over-expression can partially compensate sly1-10 mutant phenotype of dwarfism [ 1 ]. It may function as a redundant positive regulator of GA signaling [ 2 ].
1. Recessive-interfering mutations in the gibberellin signaling gene SLEEPY1 are rescued by overexpression of its homologue, SNEEZY. Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 101, 12771-6
2. Mutations in the F-box gene SNEEZY result in decreased Arabidopsis GA signaling. Plant Signal Behav 6, 831-3
