Abstract
Dbr1 is an RNA lariat debranching enzyme that hydrolyzes 2'-5' phosphodiester bonds at the branch points of excised intron lariats [ 1 ]. This entry represents the N-terminal metallophosphatase domain of Dbr1. This domain belongs to the metallophosphatase (MPP) superfamily.
1. Human RNA lariat debranching enzyme cDNA complements the phenotypes of Saccharomyces cerevisiae dbr1 and Schizosaccharomyces pombe dbr1 mutants. Nucleic Acids Res. 28, 3666-73
