Abstract
Vid27 is a cytoplasmic protein of unknown function, possibly regulates import of fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase into Vacuolar Import and Degradation (Vid) vesicles and is not essential for proteasome-dependent degradation of fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase (FBPase) [ 1 , 2 ].

2. Catabolite degradation of fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae: a genome-wide screen identifies eight novel GID genes and indicates the existence of two degradation pathways. Mol. Biol. Cell 14, 1652-63
