This entry represents a group of ACT domain-containing proteins mostly from plants, including ACR1-12 from Arabidopsis. The ACT domains s a regulatory domain that serve as amino acid-binding sites in some feedback-regulated amino acid metabolic enzymes. Plant ACR domain-containing proteins may function as novel regulatory or sensor proteins [ 1 , 2 ].
