Abstract
RWD domain containing 1 (RWDD1) and Gir2 from S. cerevisiae have a similar amino acid composition [ 1 ]. RWDD1 has been shown to interact with the androgen receptor and functions as a coactivator of androgen-dependent transcription [ 2 ]. Gir2 and its interacting partner, Rbg1, associate with ribosomes [ 3 ].

2. RWDD1 interacts with the ligand binding domain of the androgen receptor and acts as a coactivator of androgen-dependent transactivation. Mol. Cell. Endocrinol. 358, 53-62
3. Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rbg1 protein and its binding partner Gir2 interact on Polyribosomes with Gcn1. Eukaryotic Cell 8, 1061-71
