Abstract
Pre-mRNA splicing is an important step in eukaryotic gene expression. Yeasts and humans share a common set of core spliceosomal proteins that are evolutionarily conserved such as B complex proteins Snu23 (known as ZMAT2 in humans), Prp38 and MFAP1 [ 1 , 2 ]. This entry represents Snu23. Its structure has been revealed [ 3 , 3 ].
