Abstract

This entry includes VQ motif-containing protein 9 (VQ9) from plants. In general, Arabidopsis VQPs interacted specifically with the C-terminal WRKY domains of group I and the sole WRKY domains of group IIc WRKY transcription factors [ 1 , 2 ]. VQ9 is reported to control the stress response to salinity [ 3 ].
