Abstract

Nmd3 acts as an adapter for the XPO1/CRM1-mediated export of the 60S ribosomal subunit [ 1 , 2 ]. It may activate the circularly permuted GTPase Lsg1 during 60S ribosome biogenesis [ 3 ].
