Abstract

SIRP is a salt-induced RING finger protein that has been characterized in Oryza sativa. It may act as a negative regulator of salinity stress tolerance mediated by the ubiquitin 26S proteasome system. SIRP shows E3 ligase activity in vitro [ 1 ].
