Abstract

UDP-glucose:dolichyl-phosphate glucosyltransferase (DolP-glucosyltransferase, DPG synthase) is a transmembrane-bound enzyme of the endoplasmic reticulum involved in protein N-linked glycosylation. This enzyme catalyzes the transfer of glucose from UDP-glucose to dolichyl phosphate [ 1 ].
