This entry includes the constitutive proteasome subunit beta 2 (MEROPS identifier T01.984), also known as HC7 [ 1 ], Prosbeta4 (in Drosophila melanogaster ), and PRE1 or beta 4 (in Saccharomyces cerevisiae ) [ 2 ]. This entry also includes Prosbeta4R1 and Prosbeta4R2 subunits from the D. melanogaster spermatoproteasome [ 3 ].
