Abstract

This group of proteins belongs to the peptidase M28 family, and includes the VSP70 protein from Saccharomyces cerevisiae which is involved in vacuolar protein sorting [ 1 ] but is unlikely to be a metallopeptidase because zinc ligands have been replaced.
