Abstract
This entry includes Gde1 from yeasts and GPCPD1 from mammals.
Gde1 is a glycerophosphocholine glycerophosphodiesterase responsible for the hydrolysis of intracellular glycerophosphocholine into glycerol-phosphate and choline [ 1 , 2 ].
GPCPD1 (also known as GDE5) controls skeletal muscle development via a non-enzymatic mechanism [ 3 ].
