Abstract

This domain can be found in the C terminus of the animal FAM241 proteins and the fission yeast SPAC3H8.04 protein. The function of the FAM241 proteins is not clear. From a high-throughput knockout screen, SPAC3H8.04 was identified as a protein required for meiotic chromosome segregation [ 1 ].
