Abstract

Hydrocephalus-inducing protein (Hydin) is required for ciliary motility [ 1 ]. Hydin mutations have been shown to associate with primary ciliary dyskinesia in humans [ 2 ].

1. Mutations in Hydin impair ciliary motility in mice. J. Cell Biol. 180, 633-43
2. Recessive HYDIN mutations cause primary ciliary dyskinesia without randomization of left-right body asymmetry. Am. J. Hum. Genet. 91, 672-84
