Abstract

This entry represents the mid region of the yeast Blm10 or PA200 (human homologue), a proteasome activator that binds the core proteasome and stimulates proteasome-mediated protein degradation by inducing gate opening. It is the middle ordered region of the three in Blm10 [ 1 ].
