Abstract

HVA22 is an abscisic (ABA)- and stress-inducible protein first isolated from barley [ 1 ]. HVA22 is an ER and Golgi-localised protein capable of negatively regulating GA-mediated vacuolation/programmed cell death in aleurone cells [ 2 ].
