Abstract

This entry represent a subgroup of nucleotide-sugar transporter (NST) family, including URGT5 (AT4G09810, Q9SZ96 ) and URGT6 (At1g34020, Q9FDZ5 ) from Arabidopsis. They are shown to have high transport activity of UDP-rhamnose and UDP-galactose when UMP was provided as a counterexchange substrate [ 1 ].
