Abstract

Sulfate transporter 3.4 (SULTR3;4, At3g15990) shows up-regulation of transcripts in both roots and shoots from Arabidopsis plants grown under phosphate-deficient conditions [ 1 ]. A role for several SULTR3 members, including SULTR3;4, in sulfate translocation within developing seeds has been described [ 2 ].
