  • Description Plant high affinity sulfate transporter

Abstract

In Arabidopsis, sulfate is taken up from the soil by two root-specific high-affinity transporters, SULTR1;1 (At4g08620) and SULTR1;2 (At1g78000) [ 1 ], while the shoot-to-root translocation of sulfate is mediated by a phloem-localised high-affinity sulfate transporter, SULTR1;3 (At1g22150) [ 2 ]. This entry includes SULTR1;1/1;2/SULTR1;3 from Arabidopsis.
