Abstract

GRAS proteins play crucial roles in plant growth and development [ 1 ]. Scarecrow-like protein 29 (SCL29) from Arabidopsis belongs to the GRAS family of plant specific transcription factors. Nodulation signaling pathway 1 (NSP1) from Medicago is a homologue required for rhizobial Nod-factor-induced gene expression [ 2 ].
