Abstract

NPY proteins are regulators of auxin-mediated organogenesis and play a key role in Arabidopsis root gravitropism [ 1 , 2 ]. Five NPY proteins (NPY1-5) have been identified.

NPY2 specifically is expressed in the root meristem and may have a root-specific function [ 3 ].
