Abstract

This entry represents INO80 complex subunit Ies6 (also known as INO80 complex subunit C, INO80C). INO80 is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and probably DNA repair [ 1 ]. Together with Arp5, Ies6 promotes binding of the INO80 complex to nucleosomes to help initiate the remodeling reaction [ 2 ].
