Abstract
This entry represents the adenylyl cyclase-associated proteins (CAPs) mostly from fungi. CAPs are highly conserved actin-binding proteins present in a wide range of organisms including yeast, fly, plants, and mammals. Budding yeast CAP, also known as Srv2, is a multifunctional protein that is involved in Ras signalling and actin organisation [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ].
