Abstract

Proteins in this family are phospholipid-transporting ATPases, including Saccharomyces cerevisiae DNF1 and DNF2 and Schizosaccharomyces pombe uncharacterised proteins C4F10.16c and C24B11.12c.

DNF1 and DNF2 are magnesium-dependent enzymes that catalyse the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the transport of phospholipids [ 1 ].
