Abstract

This uncharacterised domain is is typically between 160 to 172 amino acids in length. It is found in the phosphatidylinositol kinase-related protein kinases TOR (target of rapamycin). In Saccharomyces cerevisiae the TOR proteins, TOR1 and TOR2, regulate growth in a rapamycin-sensitive manner [ 1 ].
