The CRIPT protein is a cytoskeletal protein involved in microtubule production. This C-terminal domain is essential for binding to the PDZ3 domain of the SAP90 protein, one of a super-family of PDZ-containing proteins that play an important role in coupling the membrane ion channels with their signalling partners [ 1 ].
