Abstract

This entry represents 60S ribosome subunit biogenesis protein Nip7, which is required for proper 27S pre-rRNA processing and 60S ribosome subunit assembly [ 1 ]. In yeast, Nip7 interacts with nucleolar proteins such as Nol8 [ 2 ], and with the exosome subunit Rrp43p. Nip7 contains a PUA domain.
