Abstract

Gcd14, also known as Trm61, is the catalytic subunit of tRNA (adenine-N(1)-)-methyltransferase [ 1 , 2 ], which is required for 1-methyladenosine modification and maturation of initiator methionyl-tRNA [ 3 ].
