Abstract
This entry includes the fungal vacuolar fusion protein Ccz1 which forms a complex with Mon1. The CCZ1-MON1 complex acts where vesicles fuse with the vacuole and is required in several vacuolar delivery pathways including autophagy, pexophagy and endocytosis as well cytoplasm to vacuole transport [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]. Ccz1 interacts with a GTPase during fusion [ 4 ].
