The PRO8NT domain is found at the N terminus of pre-mRNA splicing factors of PRO8 family [ 1 ]. The NLS or nuclear localisation signal for these spliceosome proteins begins at the start and runs for 60 residues. N-terminal to this domain is a highly variable proline-rich region [ 2 ].
