Abstract

Cdc14 is a component of the septation initiation network (SIN) and is required for the localisation and activity of Sid1. Sid1 is a protein kinase that localises asymmetrically to one spindle pole body (SPB) in anaphase disappears prior to cell separation [ 1 ], [ 2 ].
