Abstract
This entry represents activating signal cointegrator 1 complex subunit 1 (ASCC1, or ASC-1 complex subunit p50). In humans ASSC1 is part of the ASC-1 complex, consists of ASC-1, P200, P100, and P50. ASC-1 complex serves as a transcription coactivator molecule of nuclear receptors [ 1 ]. Human ASC-1 complex seems to play an essential role in AP-1, SRF, and NF-kappaB transactivation [ 2 ].
This entry also include some uncharacterised proteins from fungi (such as C15D4.13c from S. pombe).
