Abstract
BYPASS 1 (BPS1) is required for normal root and shoot development. This protein prevents constitutive production of a root mobile carotenoid-derived signaling compound that is capable of arresting shoot and leaf development [ 1 , 2 ].
ROH1 is an interactor of the exocyst subunit Exo70A1, and has been shown to be required for seed coat mucilage deposition [ 3 ].
