Abstract
Remorin binds both simple and complex galaturonides. The N-terminal region of remorin is proline rich, while the C-terminal region has been predicted to form a coiled-coil, that is expected to interact with other macromolecules, most likely DNA. Functional similarities between the behavior of the proteins and viral proteins involved in intercellular communication have been noted [ 1 ].
