Abstract

The MBOAT (membrane bound O-acyl transferase) family of membrane proteins contains a variety of acyltransferase enzymes. A conserved histidine has been suggested to be the active site residue [ 1 ]. The structure of MBOAT has been revealed [ 2 ].
