Abstract
Members of this family are O-methyltransferases, including catechol O-methyltransferase [ 1 ], caffeoyl-CoA O-methyltransferase [ 2 ] and norbelladine 4'-O-methyltransferase [ 3 ]. The family includes also bacterial O-methyltransferases that may be involved in antibiotic production [ 4 , 5 ].
