Description Contains a J-domain at the C-terminus which is similar to the J-domain of auxilin, a clathrin-uncoating factor in cow, yeast and worm. Arabidopsis contains 6 other proteins similar to auxilin. Expressed in leaves and stems, but not in roots. Localized in the cytoplasm. Required for the chloroplast accumulation response, but not for the avoidance response.
