This readme file contains general information and descriptions of the files
available for download.

All files are zipped with gzip to reduce the size and thus increase download
time. Some of the downloadable files are actually tar archives that contain
several files (sometimes quite a lot), this is typically for embl and gff files.

The most up-to-date version of the data files is always called _LATEST.
No record is being kept of these files so when updates are available, the
present files will be overwritten by the new ones.

Zosma* are the annotaion files of Z. marina v.1.0

ZosmaV2* are the annotaion files of Z. marina v.3.1

*_embl_LATEST.tar.gz are annotation files (embl format)  only contain information on the features present on a genomic 
scaffold (=> feature tables), they do not contain the sequence itself.

*_bed_LATEST.tar.gz are bed files of genes

*_cds_LATEST.tfa.gz are CDS sequences of genes

*_mRNA_LATEST.tfa.gz are transcripts sequences of genes

*_prot_LATEST.tfa.gz are protein sequences of genes

*_gene_info_LATEST.txt.gz are the info about all of genes, incuding gene ID, Strand and location

*_gff3_LATEST.tar.gz are annotation files (gff3 format)

*_gtf_LATEST.tar.gz are annotation files (gtf format)

*_gff_LATEST.tar.gz are annotation files (gff format)

Zostera_marina.mainGenome.fasta.gz is the genome assembly of Z. marina v.3.1

Zostera_marina.chloroplast.fasta is the complete chloroplast genome (from Z. marina v.1.0 data)

Zostera_marina.mitochondrion.fasta is the mitochondrion genome (from Z. marina v.1.0 data)
